With the hot weather most of the country has been experiencing, container gardens that are outside in a sunny area need to be watered daily.   But, the nice thing about planting in pots, is that you can move them to the most suitable spot during hot summer weather.  Also, the natural porosity of terra cotta helps to keep some moisture in reserve for the roots, even in dry weather.

Here in Wisconsin, we've weathered the coldest, rainiest April on record, and seem to have finally turned the corner into "real" spring.  Dafodils are blooming and tulips are on the way.

The last firing of my new spring collection is cooling down in the kiln, the pots will be for sale here by early May.  Until then, please take a look at what I have on hand from last year, which is on sale for a short time longer.
