Wakefield Studio LLC is the studio of Peter Wakefield Jackson, a master potter with more than 30 years experience making pottery by hand.  We handmake pottery with respect and admiration for work from the hands of English, French, Tuscan, and American potters of the 18th & 19th century. Through a long friendship with Guy Wolff, we have become one of the prime retailers of pottery made by the Guy Wolff Guild, a loose association of craftsmen in Honduras, China, Vietnam and the U.S., who use traditional methods to make garden pottery in the spirit of craftsmen from the 18th and 19th century. 

Guy Wolff Garden Pottery is hand thrown on a potters wheel by accomplished artisans. Our pottery is finished in two different manners: our unique Terra Cotta Moss finish is applied by hand before firing, and then fired to nearly 2000 degrees Fahrenheit for lasting durability. We also produce a line of traditional garden pottery with rustic painted finishes.
